2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) This is not a pet friendly home.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

This was a great choice. Our trip was to spend 3 whole days in NYC. The price made it so we could fly in late on Wednesday (instead of our usual flying in early Thursday). The number one reason I picked this spot was that is was a 5 minute walk from the NJ Transit train at Newark Broad Street that took us directly into NYC Penn Station. It only took 23 mins and was $6. (Another day we also took a train to Hoboken and connected to the PATH train that took us to the other end of Manhattan at the World Trade.)
The place itself was exactly like the pictures. Very clean, great comfortable beds, and also great bedding. This had great fluffy duvets. The kitchen was stocked well, very clean. The only cooking we did was to heat water, which it did great on the gas stove. The heating worked quickly and well.
Our only issue was the upstairs shower did not drain. I called, and they set up a service call, but their service person did not show up.Show more Antwone

Great location, responsive hosts and beautiful space. I’m from Newark and love that this apartment is conveniently located on a quiet street near amenities and transit options. While the apartment was lovely it could have been cleaner when we arrived. There was also an issue with the shower draining extremely slowly and the circuit breaker constantly tripping when running the microwave or using the washer/dryer. The place was wonderful besides those minor inconveniences and I would certainly stay again/ recommend.Show more Zachary

A wonderful place to stay over the course of a weekend. Looks exactly like the pictures and everything felt new and fresh.
A 5 minute walk to the Broadstreet station gives you quick and easy access to NYC.
