Description
Newly renovated, light filled corner row house in the heart of Capitol Hill. Fully equipped chef's kitchen! Spa like bathrooms! Large backyard with great seating area, fully fenced, and weber gas grill. Two blocks from the metro. Less than 1.5 miles from the Capitol. Walk to everything in Eastern Market and Barracks Row.
Three bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and en suite bathroom. One bedroom has a built in double bed and the other has a pull-out queen sized bed. For kids there are toys, a tableside high chair, books, stroller, kids utensils and other family friendly amenities available. There is a pack n play and an air mattress if you need it.
The english basement has a one bedroom one bath in-law suite. The In-law suite includes a full kitchen, additional laundry room, and separate entrance. This is the perfect space to get work done while the family is having a good time upstairs.
Our home is contactless seamless and easy self check in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Don't hesitate to ask.

The house is in a perfect location. One block from the Potomac Ave Metro (orange/blue line). Walkable to the national Mall, Eastern Market, H street NE, and the Navy Yard. The neighborhood is quiet tree lined area perfect for strolling and exploring. The area offers fantastic restaurants with in a 7 block radius, two grocery stores within 5 blocks, access to National's Stadium. Beautiful walking trails along the water are less than 4 blocks away.
This area is highly walkable and well-served by public transportation. You can easily explore nearby areas like Eastern Market and Barracks Row on foot for restaurants, shops, and local markets. For public transit, the Potomac Avenue Metro Station (Blue, Orange, and Silver lines) is the closest, offering quick access to other parts of the city. Biking is also a popular option with dedicated bike lanes and Capital Bikeshare stations nearby. If you prefer driving, street parking is available, though it can be limited during peak times. There is a bike share station next to the metro stop. The bikes are available for $7 a day. Its a perfect way to explore our city.

1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per, pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings. We do not allow cats in this home.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) This home comes with a garage for parking at an additional cost. Please reach out to our Guest Services team for additional information.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

It was comfortable and outfitted with crafts, toys, games, and books to keep your little one entertained. In addition the bed was comfortable, kitchen well-outfitted, and it was easy to walk to public transit, etc.
The trickiest part of our stay was an overwhelming odor that would not leave the house. We let Patricia know, and she was kind to respond right away. Her theory was that the odor was emanating from the abandoned building next door. Not sure what was causing it, but the smell was the only reason we did not rate this stay a 5/5.Show more Excellent place, my family very much enjoyed our stay. Road construction on the adjacent road was a bit bothersome, but over all did not detract from the amazing home. Was close to several restaurants and was a $10-$15 Uber to all of the sights and locations.
Neighborhood felt safe and was easy to get to. 2 Hour Parking during the day was an issue, but the host helped us solve it with ease.

This was our worst Airbnb experience ever. We attempted to contact the host to resolve these issues however they failed to communicate in a timely manner with us and provided the excuse they were traveling. They also failed to meet their promises made to resolve our concerns. The house looks like someone lived there and rushed out when it was booked. Personal household items were out in the open, and it felt like we were invading someone’s space. The biggest complaint was the house had a mildew/ sewerage smell when you walked in. We purchased air fresheners and candles with our own money and nothing we used could help the smell. This smell is throughout the entire house, but the strongest smell is on the main floor. There were NO face towels, limited toilet paper, the smoke alarms were beeping, the carbon monoxide detectors were all unplugged, the rugs were dirty, and walls were dirty.
