1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
6) Guests with mobility issues should know that the staircase is steep and narrow and that the rim of the bathtub is thigh-high. Also, if you have issues with noise or ambient light at night, pack earplugs and an eye mask - it's shared space, and the hallway light peeks in over the transom.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

Outstanding overall ! The location alone with proximity to transportation, restaurants and activities is amazing - but the thoughtful details in the apartment (great towels, stocked kitchen, etc) will make you feel like they are going out of their way to make you feel like a welcome guest instead of just a transactional visit.Show more Challenging review to write as there were so many good things about our stay, but a couple of major issues, as well.
Fantastic location! This is the selling point for this unit. Surrounded by multiple local restaurants, bakeries, Foxtrot market, several chains (ex: Shake Shack) nearby. Metro station within two or three blocks. Also, there's a CVS just across Dupont Circle.
Unit was clean and organized. Appliances in great condition. Sojourn responsive before and during our stay. They also accommodated us dropping our luggage off early due to our morning arrival. Super helpful.
Can only give three stars, though, due to issues with amenities / unit upkeep. Floorboards in main room loose and buckling. Lights burned out in kitchen. Soundbar falling off wall in bedroom (Sojourn to fix). Missing shower head / wand. No hair dryer in unit (host unaware, we had to buy new, host did not offer reimbursement). Suspect host doesn't spend time in the unit / staying on top of its condition.Show more Hopefully we will be back again.
