1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

The location is excellent, and the building is old--so the upstairs neighbor's movements are very audible at all times, including, when I stayed a four days, late into the night making it difficult to sleep. I wouldn't describe the first floor apartment as "very light" as the sun hits the back side of the building for most of the day. Dupont Circle is great, however, everything walkable and easy to access.Show more Great stay. We really enjoyed the neighborhood, and the walkability was fantastic. A prime location to wander. There were many nearby, delicious restaurants; Dupont Circle was very close; and getting to a bus stop was easy. There was also a CVS just around the corner if we needed anything last minute to have on hand at our stay, like toiletries, masks, snacks, etc.
Parking can be tricky, but there was an in-and-out garage less than 10 min. walking distance that was great for our stay. The BnB inside was comfortable and everything we felt like we needed was there. The only note I have is for light sleepers: the neighbors could be heard occasionally, especially above, moving around, etc., as well as people walking outside or traffic (the latter of which is expected for a city). As a heavy sleeper, I was unbothered, and my partner wore earplugs and slept through the night.
Lastly, communicating with the host was straightforward and breezy. It was a pleasure overall.Show more William
