1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

I don't think I have ever given a poor review, and have been happy to work with hosts when things aren't right, but there were some really negative things I've never dealt with before that I feel obligated to say since I read reviews when choosing a place. First the positives: great location, lots of space, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds/towels. Now for the negatives: really gross stain on half the couch and a few other things. I could have overlooked these things but this is run by a huge company that had no idea there was significant construction going on in the entry way to building, and front door knob and mess was not cleaned up until 4 days later when we were checking out. The worst part was the attitude I got and/or fake concern regarding the issues. So as not to let it ruin my vacation, I told them I was going to stop discussing it. When I tell others about my experience, they said didn't they offer you any kind of credit? (which they did not). Frankly I/they were shocked.Show more We had a lovely stay for our family vacation to Washington DC. DuPont Circle is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the district. We were close to the metro station which we used daily to get easily to the Smithsonian, National zoo, Capital, White House and memorials and moments. There were several grocery stores within walking distance and the kitchen was very well equipped. My family makes all of our own food due to dietary restrictions and we were able to do this with ease at this property. The skylights in the ceilings in the kitchen and 1/2 bath along with the windows in each room provided nice natural light during the day. The bedrooms and full bath were comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly responsible and addressed the few needs and questions we had prior to and during our trip. The apartment was comfortable for our family of four.
