Please do review the house rules before your stay, particularly those as they relate to noise levels, what can and can not be flushed down the drain and our strict zero tolerance on smoking of any kind to include e cigarettes in our homes. Parties and other events are strictly prohibited. A $500 charge will be added to your card in the event of any smoking to include the use of marijuana and e cigarettes. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices, your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced.

Our home is contactless seamless and easy self check in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival.

Southwest & The Wharf is one of the most historic areas in the city. It’s home to the nation’s longest continually operating open-air fish market, houseboats and a vibrant riverfront community offering panoramic views, ample recreational activities and easy access to Washington DC’s most beloved monuments and memorials. At the same time, it’s quickly becoming one of DC’s hottest neighborhoods with The Wharf, a waterfront dining and entertainment destination with plenty of activities and things to do.
An oasis in the city, Southwest & The Wharf is home to the East Coast’s largest population of “liveaboards,” or people who domicile on boats year-round. Many are docked at Gangplank Marina, side-by-side with DC cruise boats like Hornblower Cruises. In warm weather, expect to catch free outdoor movies, yoga and other workout programs here. In cold weather, during the holidays, the waterfront attracts a procession of brightly illuminated boats, as part of the Parade of Lighted Boats, which begins in Old Town Alexandria.
The nearest Metrorail hub is L'Enfant Plaza Station on the Blue, Orange, Silver, Green and Yellow Lines. The closest supermarket is the Safeway at 1100 4th St SW.

1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

This is a fantastic Airbnb! We absolutely loved our long-term stay. I totally recommend this unit to anyone looking for a safe, well-stocked, and comfortable place to spend time in D.C. The owners keep the unit in spectacular shape — the bed is super comfortable, there are plenty of cooking supplies (pots, pans), and the bathroom came with several rolls of toilet paper + plenty of towels. The location is great for women who may be nervous to stay alone in other locations. I could not recommend this unit more highly!Show more The apartment is perfectly located and spacious. The apartment was great. Clean, in a perfect location, and very safe. Check in was very easy - and the communication was superb. The only draw back would be there were fewer kitchen supplies than I expected given the longer rental. Perhaps a few more cooking pans and treys. But overall, I would give this location and apartment a 5 star.Show more
