Description
Sojourn welcomes you to this stunning 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom single family, beach house, newly appointed and renovated, and just 150 feet to toes in the sand through beach access directly on the corner. Willoughby Spit is a great neighborhood to check out on foot or bike with water on both sides! Our side contains over 7 miles of uncrowded and awesome beaches with small waves right on the Chesapeake Bay.
We are pet friendly by request, with a fee of $75 per pet/week.
Renovated in the summer of 2021 with furnishings from places like Serena & Lily and Crate & Barrel, this fantastic and inviting two-story beach house comfortably sleeps 9 with generously sized bedrooms in Ocean View. An open and airy first floor includes a dining room that seats 10, a fully appointed kitchen, convenient full bathroom, and a front deck. The comfy living room features plenty of seating for a family or group, including a queen sleeper sofa from Article. and features plenty of seating for the family or group. Relax in front of the 65" 4K Smart TV or play some classic board games.
The kitchen is fully appointed with a refrigerator large enough to stock up for the week. Smaller appliances include a Kuerig coffee system and a Ninja blender perfect for preparing frozen drinks for the beach. Cabinets are fully stocked with glassware, plates/dishes/bowls (both glass and plastic sets), mugs, pots/pans, cooking utensils, bakeware, and children’s dishes. For those who don’t feel like cooking, there are lots of local restaurants and food delivery services available (e.g., Doordash, Grubhub, Instacart, Postmates, Uber Eats). If grilling is your thing, we have a 3-burner Weber Grill perfect for every outdoor meal.
The oversized (25’ x 23’) master bedroom boasts high ceilings, a king size bed, 48” 4K smart TV, reading lamps, a work area with desk, en suite spa shower, and a huge private deck, complete with a hammock chair and views of the stunning sunsets over the Bay.
Two additional generously sized (17’ x 13’) bedrooms connect to an en suite bathroom with a bathtub. The second bedroom comes with a king bed and a queen bed. The third bedroom has a two full beds and one single bed, with access to the second floor deck complete with seating for enjoying a morning brew or an evening read. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and full-length mirrors.
Our home is a great balance of common and separate spaces to meet everyone’s needs! All TVs in the home are Roku Smart TVs. We have high-speed internet so whether you're streaming media content or conducting business, you'll have a great connection!
Enjoy tranquil evening walks on the beach or wind down at home on the front porch or back deck. Finish off the night just relaxing with a drink under the stars! Come enjoy the Virginia coast! Those home can comfortably sleep 8.
Our large, two-car garage features space for extra storage and a Tesla Wall Connector that adds up to 44 miles of range per hour and can be fitted to appropriate guest-supplied adapters to charge non-Tesla EVs as well. Our parking pad can accommodate up to 4 additional vehicles.
Our home has a contactless, seamless and easy self check- in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Don't hesitate to ask.

Sojourner pet fee is $100/pet/wk.
Guests staying longer than 6 weeks pay a flat fee of $450. Guest is responsible for all indoor and outdoor cleanup related to furry friends staying at the property. If additional cleaning is required to remove signs/smells of the pet, an additional cleaning fee will be applied.
Our properties require Sojourn to collect the name and picture of government-issued photo ID for the primary guest. When requested, guest agrees to provide this information or the reservation will be cancelled.
For the comfort of our guests and team members, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted inside or within thirty (30) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke your card can be charged and your security deposit will be forfeited. Sojourn will contact the booking service, terminate your stay and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers); your privacy is safe as these devices cannot record or decipher what you are saying. Noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excessive noise, music, gatherings or parties, a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation could be terminated without refund.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...

1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) Fireworks and fires are illegal in Norfolk and any use of either will be cause for immediate termination of your stay.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

What a lovely beach house! The location was great. Just a very short walk to the beach. The beach was beautiful! The rooms were comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. We had a fun weekend getaway! Will definitely stay here again!Show more We drove into Norfolk for a weekend visiting family - there were 6 of us and we all fit very comfortably. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, shower and hang out. We loved that we were also able to bring our dog who was the comfiest of all! Very nice property and excellent host! Pictures are accurate. The house is comfortable and very clean, as well as spacious with a lot of natural light. The location was perfect for us with public beach access just a very short walk away. We actually rented another property for this week from another host, but it was horrible and completely unlivable, leaving us scrambling to find another house. Sojourn saved the day by having this property available for us to book and check into same day. They were so pleasant and were very quick and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!Show more
