Description
Sojourn welcomes you to your newly appointed and renovated, gorgeous 2 BR 1 BA beach apartment. Renovated in 2021 with furnishings from Article, Crate & Barrel and West Elm. This home sleeps 5 with 2 fantastic queen beds and one futon bed (note that the futon is in the bedroom), TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast Wifi. Enjoy epic panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay. Beach chairs and towels are provided. We are pet friendly with a $450 pet fee.
The space
A 2 bedroom/1 bath set appointed for short or long term stays. The apartment has 1 king bed, 1 queen bed and a futon sofa all over looking the beach. Beds and bathrooms are appointed with feather pillows, Frette towels, all weather down duvets, central heat and air and a private bay front patio.
Other things to note
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) Fireworks are illegal in norfolk and use of fireworks is grounds for immediate cancellation of your lease.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

Amenities
Took a long weekend to enjoy the beach with my husband and our two dogs. We found the unit easily, had a little trouble getting in but were able to communicate and get the help we needed quickly. Unit was clean, view was beautiful, and we had a short walk to the beach. It was an enjoyable stay for us all.Show more Paula

The location was nice and private. It felt like we had our own beach! Coming in late in the dark, it was initially a little confusing as to which apartment was ours and how to access from the outside. The photos make it look much more updated and newer than it actually is, but you can’t beat the view and the beach access. Sojourn was super communicative and it was really nice to not have to worry about cleaning on our last day! It was important that we found a place that let us bring our 3 dogs and Sojourn was happy to let us do that for an extra fee. The dogs loved playing on the beach and enjoying the deck, as well!Show more Alesia

This review is for the purpose of improvement in some areas.
Pros: Clean. Quiet. Very comfortable pillows & bed. Good linens. Some nice furniture pieces. The views of the ocean were beautiful. The close access to the ocean.
Cons: Living room wall and ceiling had a cracks running across them. The bathroom faucet water ran so slow, it literally trickled out which was very irritating. The two kitchen windows facing the house next door had no blinds. The living room couch had a few spots on it and the chair corner looks like a cat was scratching on it.Show more
