The single-story 1,100 square-foot home is located conveniently a few min. off of I-64 in Newport News, VA. Perfect for a weekly stay or month-to-month rental. Close to Fort Eustis, Langley, beach, and less than 20 min. drive to Bush Gardens Williamsburg, Colonial Williamsburg, 30 min drive to Historic Jamestown. conveniently right off Jefferson Ave. where all the shops & restaurants are located.
The space
This lovely well maintained Ranch Style 3 bedroom home with 2 full baths is ready to welcome a family, military personnel who are in between transitions. The house is located in a safe, quiet residential neighborhood.

Please Read - Landscaping is schedule for Monday - Wednesday in Newport News. If you are booked for this property you acknowledge our landscaper will enter the backyard to cut the grass. Trash is scheduled to be picked up 3 days a week, you also acknowledge that our private trash provider will be on site bringing cans out and back in.

We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

Fireworks are illegal in Virginia. If you are found to be engaged in setting off fireworks we are required by the city to immediately terminate your stay. Also If you are found responsible for having started a wildfire or dune fire with fireworks, you may be liable for all suppression and reclamation costs or even face imprisonment and fines.
3) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
4) This home is pet friendly only by request, and must be appoved in writing. The Pet fee is $75 per pet, per week.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

Whoever owns it NEED to UPGRADE the AC unit the air did NOT work so someone had to come out and give us WINDOW UNITS! I can’t give very LOW review because the guy who works for Sojourn was sooo nice and they came out fast! But our stay was NOT a good one and we thought based on the pics there was another MASTER BEDROOM! We actually had to put a MATTRESS on the FLOOR! The MASTER BEDROOM MATTRESS was HORRIBLE!! The heatin in thermostat in the house is at least 50 years old because I remember seeing that as a child I would recommend doing upgrades before it is rented out again!! And to have the cleaning people cut off the air conditioner, so it won’t freeze up!Show more The house was as described and the location was convenient to Yorktown and Newport News. The house was very clean throughout, especially for a location that allows pets.Show more The house was in a quiet neighborhood. We felt right at home. We’re close to all the historical sites and good restaurants, a short drive to anywhere. The yard was fenced in which was great as our dog was with us. Very spacious and very relaxed.
