Your stay may be short, but you can still enjoy a wonderful beach vacation at The Coastal Cottage. This home is custom designed to provide comfort and relaxation for families. The living and dining areas are brightly decorated and curated to be the perfect spot for entertaining and spending time together. The kitchen is fully equipped with stone countertops, new designer stainless steel appliances, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The Coastal Cottage has 3 bedrooms that can comfortably sleep 6 people. The Crate and Barrel dining table accommodates the entire family, while the custom designer living room is perfect for a movie night in. You'll find real down comforters, hand-picked feather and gel pillows, and luxury bath towels to indulge yourself. The sun-filled master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a twin bunk bed. The full bathroom has a bathtub, making it easy for kids to take a bath. The backyard is perfect for family time, with a fire pit, gas grill, and patio swing & chairs for lounging.
Please be aware that landscaping is scheduled for Monday to Wednesday in Norfolk. If you have booked this property, you acknowledge that our landscaper will enter the backyard to cut the grass during this time. Additionally, trash is scheduled to be picked up 3 days a week, and our private trash provider will be on site bringing the cans out and back in.

1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
3) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
4.) Fireworks and fires are illegal in Norfolk and any use of either near the home, on the beach or a the home will be cause for immediate termination of your stay.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

The host was incredibly responsive, making the booking and check-in process seamless and stress-free. The house was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel right at home. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring we all had a great night's sleep. The space was more than adequate for our family of four, and our fur baby had plenty of room to roam. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and clean home away from home. Would definitely stay again!Show more The size of this three-bedroom cottage would accommodate most families; the yard is a good size with a secure gate. The furnishings were thoughtfully selected, and the air-conditioning worked well. The driveaway can accommodate three mid-size cars in a row with additional street parking. I found the neighborhood quiet and safe. The best part of this listing is Swell Charcoal Grill & Raw Bar, a 2-minute walk away! I took all my meals there; it was a perfect spot for cocktails and fresh seafood, and the desserts were delightful! Get the homemade oatmeal creme pies! They are addictive! Swell's service was top-notch, and they regularly stayed open late to accommodate guests. I can't wait to return to Swell!
There were some cleaning and maintenance issues, but I presented those directly to the property management team, which took my feedback seriously. The team was proactive, responsive, and professional, so I am confident that those issues will be resolved for future bookings.Show more
