Please note that for all of our safety the home is equipped with Ring cameras monitoring and recording the exterior of our building. We also have noise monitoring devices in all of our homes. These devices only monitor decibel levels and in no way invade your privacy.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted any where in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.

Amenities
Overall, we had a good stay here in this Airbnb. The location is first class and the patio was an excellent amenity to have! Many bars, restaurants, and activities were within walking distance!
However, when we arrived the floor was dirty and turned our socks black when we took off our shoes. Other than that, the bathroom and bedroom were spotless and clean.
What was not ok was that we had to kill 5 centipedes during our stay. Only a few blocks from the Washington Mall amd my favorite attraction, the Library of Congress. Plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. If you're planning in staying here for several days, I would encourage you to plan for parking accommodations. It is a residential area, so all street parking is accounted for. And public parking is limited to daytime hours.
Sojourn helped me with parking by informing me of SpotHero, which is "an airbnb for cars," where one pays for a spot.
