Renovated in the summer of 2021 with furnishings from Article, Crate & Barrel and West Elm. This home sleeps 5 with 2 fantastic King beds, TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast wifi and sweeping panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay with epic sunsets.
The space
We include free Netflix and Hulu for every TV. Beach chairs and towels are provided. We are pet friendly with a $450 pet fee. Please note and confirm you have read this. A new deck is being put on this building. This may cause concern for noise.

Our home has a contactless, seamless and easy self check- in. A code will be set for you and shared 8 hours before your arrival if you have completed the SuperHog process. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Other things to note
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) This home allows pets for a one time pet fee of $450, per pet.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) Fireworks are illegal in Norfolk and are grounds for termination of your stay.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

Great place to stay. Has private beach access and would be great for families. About a 5 minute drive from the pier where you get more of a touristy type beach experience. 30-40 mins away from Virginia Beach.
Space was very clean, but like previously mentioned in other comments, very damp inside. You’re better off leaving towels/swimsuits to dry out on the patio.
The interior was very nice and clean. More spacious than I was expecting. The deck/patio area could use some TLC, but overall great place for the price. Would definitely stay again. Comfy beds!!Show more The location and the porch were the best part of this AirBnb. Both bedrooms of the apartment lead out to the your own private porch. There you can sit out all day and enjoy the view or walk out to the sand and beach only a few steps away. The apartment had all the basic amenities needed for our stay. Having our own washer and dryer in the apt was a huge plus. The Sojourn team was very responsive and helped with any issues pretty fast. The only downside was that apartment was very old. Although some renovations were done, and the apartment was clean the foundation of the home is very old. The walls and doors are very old and the apartment is constantly moist. Our clothes, bedsheets, towels were always moist. You can actually smell the moisture in the air. Also the amount of flies by the home were just crazy. We had to buy 3 separate fly traps and a fan for the porch to get rid of them.
