Other things to note
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a rental with sojourn, you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

This apartment is in a great, safe location. Great restaurants around the corner. Grocery stores nearby. And a couple blocks from metro station with good connections. Owners were so responsive to each communication. Kitchen was well set up and everything was easy to usemShow more This place was a great location and overall very nice stay! Easily walkable to a metro station on a central line. Two beds were comfy. The sofa pulls into a double bed but has a seam in the middle. Ok for two kids but wouldn't plan on two adults there. Bathrooms were spacious with great amenities. The kitchen was clean and stocked with coffee. If you plan on cooking a lot, this might not be the best place for you. The smoke alarm went off multiple times while we were just boiling pasta. Also 1/2 of the stove is adjacent to the wall and virtually not usable. Totally ok unless you will be doing lots of cooking. Otherwise, the kitchen was clean and had all we needed.
There are lots of restaurants nearby and would highly recommend Ted's bulletin and the ice cream place on 8th.
Overall perfect spot for a weekend getaway with our kids to DC!!Show more Deborah

This place was right near the Eastern Market neighborhood with lists of restaurants and very close to the Metro. The house was very clean and neat- nothing fancy but definitely met our needs for 4 days. Would come back!Show more
