Other things to note
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by SUPERHOG directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

We enjoyed our stay and it was ideal for walking to many of the local attractions. It was tight, but acceptable, for the 5 of us. They made our stay very easy and we would definitely consider staying here again!Show more Pablo Teofilo

This place was great! The location was nice also and walkable to most things, maybe a 15 minute walk to the White house if that which made things pretty convenient. My family and I had everything we needed during the stay and felt right at home. Rooms were a decent size as well for being in the city I wasn't sure what to expect, would definitely stay again! 1) Very convenient location.
2) Prompt communication.
3) Clean.
What could have been better:
1) Silverware drawer and garbage share the same cabinet. So the smell of garbage already permeates the drawer of the silverware. Hence we did not use the silverware at all, instead relying on re-using plastic silverware we got from take away restaurants.
2) Body soap was missing (no big deal!) but all other toiletries were well-stocked.
Information to be aware of for the location:
Free Street parking is limited to non-existent depending on day of the week.
Nearby parking garage rates are between $35 to $71 per 24 hours with no in-and-out privileges. But public personal transport (e.g. rental e-scooters and e-bikes) is easily available to get around the city. So best to leave your car behind or parked somewhere away in a cheaper parking garage.Show more
